Quranic Revelation Academy
Parent Guidelines
Practical guidance to help families support successful online learning.
Parent Guidelines
These guidelines help parents support a child’s Quran learning while keeping lessons organised, positive and safe.
Before the lesson
Please help the child arrive on time with the required book or mushaf, a charged device, working audio and a reasonably quiet learning space.
During lessons
For younger children, a parent or responsible adult should remain reasonably available. Parents should avoid repeatedly interrupting the lesson unless support is needed.
Practice between lessons
Short, regular practice is generally more useful than occasional long sessions. Encourage the child to review the exact material assigned by the teacher.
Supporting without overcorrecting
If you are unsure whether a pronunciation is correct, note the word and ask the teacher rather than repeatedly reinforcing an uncertain correction.
Communication with the Academy
Parents should use official Academy channels for scheduling, concerns and educational questions. Important changes in the child’s learning needs should be communicated when relevant.
Safety and privacy
Parents should protect the child’s personal information and inform the Academy promptly about any communication or behaviour that raises a safeguarding concern.
Progress
Progress should be measured through improved reading, reduced repeated errors, stronger confidence and consistent practice rather than page numbers alone.
